MLEARN 2003 will build on the findings and knowledge shared in
2002 , the first European workshop on mobile and contextual
learning, held at the University of Birmingham.
Two mobile learning projects, both supported by the European Commission,
are collaborating to organise the two international conferences,
MLEARN 2003 in London, UK, and MLEARN 2004 in Rome, Italy. Both
projects will bring an international perspective to the conferences
- m-learning has partners in Italy, Sweden and the UK and MOBIlearn
has partners in Australia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy,
Spain, Switzerland, the UK and USA.
The Learning and Skills Development Agency are the event organisers
for MLEARN 2003. The LSDA is the coordinating partner of the m-learning
project, and is a strategic national resource for the development
of policy, practice and research in post-16 education and training
in the UK and is supported by the Department for Education and Skills
and the Learning and Skills Council.
