How can I contribute? (Presentations)

 

The submission of conference papers

The tracked sessions are an opportunity to showcase recent work – get feedback, explore ideas and make contact with others working in the same field. Contributions will take the form of:

  • Full paper. An abstract is required to be submitted in advance for this. Final papers should be max. 5 pages.
  • Short paper. An abstract is required to be submitted in advance for this. Final papers should be max. 3 pages.
  • Poster sessions. An abstract is required to be submitted in advance for this. As an indication, final papers should be approximately 2 pages, although other formats (such as PowerPoint slides or HTML pages) may also be acceptable.

Please note that the deadline date for the submission of conference papers to present at the conference is April 16, 2004

 

The above 2 documents have been created using MS Word, the word processing program. If you should have difficulties downloading this information, or you do not have the Word program, please contact Mr Da Bormida to discuss alternative arrangements.

Conference presentations

  • The length of research paper presentations (i.e. from full papers) will be 20 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions
  • The length of developers’ sessions is expected to be 15 minutes, plus 10 minutes for discussion.

Further publication of conference papers

A selection of research papers presented will be presented for publishing on international Journals for further education and lifelong learning.
