Call for Papers

The conference which is being organised by the University of Malta in collaboration with IAmLearn - the Association for Mobile Learning, and the Valletta Local Council is designed to appeal to a wide range of audiences interested in enhancing learning, designing content and developing systems for mobile devices.

Contribution Types
Full Paper - 8 pages
Academic contributions are solicited to report completed research which includes any two from:
  • Background in learning theory or practice;
  • Education intervention or technology implementation;
  • Report of evaluation.
Short Paper - 4 pages
Research in progress can also be presented clearly indicating the research background, work undertaken so far, and plans for future work.

Poster - 2 pages
Shorter contributions of new and innovative work-in-progress or theoretical frameworks are welcomed. Posters present an ideal opportunity for authors to obtain feedback while attendees are exposed and learn about novel on-going research projects.

Doctoral Track
Ph.D. students will have the opportunity to submit short papers to discuss their proposal with established academics in the mobile learning field while at the same time having a supportive and collaborative platform of fellow doctoral students who are working on similar issues. A full-day Ph.D. workshop will provide a scene for constructive input on proposed research and guidance for future progress.
